It has recently come to my attention the existence of a new
Double Red Dial configuration
The new dial configuration can be best described as follow.
1. Matt dial with "Submariner 2000" and "Sea-Dweller" in Red
2. Markers contain luminova material as opposed to the tritium found in
all the previous dials
3. The depth marking fonts are in italics ie "ft" and "m".
This is a change from the previous dials.
4. The coronet is shaped similar to the mark II dials.
Clearly this dial is a recent production from Rolex. It would be
speculative to say anything other than it exists and its a from the factory.
Please note that I do not have information on how to obtain this dial or
from where to obtain this dial. This is just an informative page to describe
the dial and its characteristics.
