The Single Red SeaDweller by Delgado

The Single Red Seadweller or mark 00 dial for lack of better name is indeed a very special watch/dial.

Made in very small quantities in the late 60s it was not sold to the public and given to some early diving pioneers to test. This is very rare dial and only a small test batch was done before regular production was started. Many of these dials were also replaced by regular dials once retured to Rolex for service.

This dial combination should be considered a prototype.

Characteristics include the distintive coronet, larger print of date, obviously one red line, and distintive depth markings of "Submariner 500m-1650ft"
